“Calm on the outside – strong at the core”
In every project I keep the goal in sight. I work precisely and with solid expertise, stay calm under pressure, and am a trusted key person for partners and team.
International experience. I have carried out projects in sales, market launch and communication in Switzerland and the U.S., working in German, French and English.
From idea to execution. I support projects through every phase: concept, planning, development, execution and completion. As the central point of contact, I coordinate partners, investors and teams, keep communication between everyone clear and the project on track.
Planning and organization. I plan ahead, monitor schedules, budgets and dependencies, and coordinate every component of a project. I work in a structured way and deliver on time.
Calm and reliable. Even under pressure I work calmly, professionally and with a focus on solutions. Add to that exceptional communication at every level, global thinking, openness and genuine teamwork. All of the following projects were completed successfully.
Ambassador USA – Palo Alto. After two years as sales assistant for Europe at Antima SA (Invest Time Holding AG), with Sweden as its largest private-label customer, I was asked whether I would take on the attempt to launch the brand on the U.S. market. Until then there were no customers or contacts there. I accepted the challenge, moved to the U.S. with my daughter and built the project in Palo Alto on a 60% schedule: location and office, corporate image, catalogs, brand message, advertising and market concepts. After nine months it became clear that the ideal solution for the company was an established representative already distributing other watch brands in America. I made contact with an agent in New York who, after several visits to Switzerland and discussions with management, added Antima to his portfolio as a private-label watch. A successful and formative experience.
Golf watch start-up. The project started quite spontaneously: at the watch fair in Basel, a customer approached me during a coffee break. The watch industry was completely new to him, but he had a dream: to bring his own golf watch to market. After running several successful companies, the lifelong golfer wanted to fulfill one last passion, a watch with a complication that counts strokes and offers other functions. Together with Antima SA, where I was working at the time, we got the project off the ground and did extensive development work with watchmakers until the movement and functions were feasible. This was followed by the search for investors and contacts with well-known names in the watch industry. I managed the entire organization, business plan and communication up to the first prototype.
Internal process optimization, Rolex SA. When Rolex Geneva took over Rolex Biel, the organization and management were restructured. I was involved in the project from the start: I redesigned the staff regulations, introduced the new corporate philosophy and revised all internal processes in two languages. Working with every department, we made processes shorter, more precise and clearer. I also developed an onboarding program for 10 to 20 new employees per month.
New reception desks – Rolex SA. I set up the reception desks in the new buildings. This included job descriptions, task and shift planning, and scheduling and vacation planning. I also led a team of five employees.
Building and running two institutes. I started in aesthetic medicine as a side business, but success came quickly: after six months I opened my own institute for aesthetic dermatology in Biel, and after one year I went fully self-employed. The five-star hotel Le Grand Spa Bellevue in Gstaad then offered me a space, where I built a second institute from the ground up. In dermatology I worked closely with physicians. The opening took place in the middle of the summer season. For years I ran both locations with steady growth, healthy finances and a high-end international clientele. In 2019 I sold both businesses to move to the U.S. with my then-husband for his career.
Real Estate USA – California. My then-husband and I bought a property, and I was responsible for its redesign, renovation, construction management and budget. After about two years we sold it for a net profit of 30% of the purchase price. It was my first insight into the world of real estate, and I subsequently received several offers to work as a real estate agent. In 2023, however, I decided to return to Switzerland.
Event planning and artist marketing – California. I represented local artists and created websites, social media channels, content and visuals, as well as videos and interviews for them. I also organized two events that brought together art, local restaurants, businesses and music. The events were very well attended, and the art sales goals were met with great success. The combination of art, food and music is a wonderful mix and was a perfect fit for the small town of Carmel, California.
All of these projects were wonderful experiences and were completed successfully, to the great satisfaction of everyone involved and to my own gratitude and pride.
Your right hand. In every project, I am glad to take the load off management or the CEO so they can focus on what matters most.
Ready for your next project. Each of these projects was a very positive experience for me and a success for the companies involved. Today I am already looking forward to a new project. The field is secondary to me.
Do you have a project that needs support from the first idea to success?
I look forward to discussing it with you.
